The VN3100 Portable Turbidity Meter is a high-precision portable turbidity measurement instrument launched by VVNA. It complies with the standards of EPA 180.1 and the corresponding Chinese National Standards (GB). Adopting the principle of 90° scattered light method combined with ratio measurement for turbidity determination, the instrument emits a beam of parallel light that passes through the sample. When the light encounters particles in the water, its propagation direction will be changed, resulting in light scattering. The instrument then detects the scattered light from the particles at an angle of 90° relative to the incident light. The degree of scattering is directly proportional to the number of suspended particles in the water.
The VN3100 Portable Turbidity Meter has a measurable turbidity range from 0 to 1000 NTU. Powered by 4 AA batteries, the meter can also be supplied with power via a 5V 500mA power adapter and a USB Type-C cable. It is mainly designed for on-site turbidity measurement of various water samples, featuring simple operation, high accuracy, and data storage functionality.
It is widely used in the fields of environmental protection, tap water supply, secondary water supply, health and disease control, governments and universities, municipal water supply, industrial water use, pharmaceutical industry, sewage treatment and other related sectors.
