Operating Precautions for Portable Residual Chlorine Detector
The VI-CL100 Portable Residual Chlorine Detector is an instrument recommended by our company for residual chlorine detection. Compact and easy to carry, it adopts the colorimetric method for on-site and rapid results, making it an ideal tool for relevant institutions such as aquaculture facilities and research institutes. To ensure detection accuracy, operators should note the following precautions during use:
Precautions
After pouring the water sample into the glass colorimetric cuvette, wipe off any water stains on the outside of the cuvette with a highly absorbent soft cloth or tissue.
Do not touch the surface of the glass sample cell directly with your fingers to avoid leaving fingerprints, which may affect the test results.
Disconnect the power supply before cleaning the instrument.
Clean stains on the display with a soft cloth or cotton tissue.
The display surface is prone to scratches; do not wipe or touch it with hard objects.
The sample cell must be kept clean and covered with the lid after use.
Avoid introducing air bubbles into the colorimetric cuvette after adding the water sample. If bubbles appear, let the solution stand undisturbed for a period of time to remove them.
