The VN3100 is a portable high-precision turbidimeter launched by VVNA. It adopts the nephelometry and ratio detection technology for turbidity measurement. Specifically, the turbidimeter emits a beam of parallel light that passes through the sample; when the light encounters particles in the sample, its propagation direction changes, resulting in light scattering. The instrument detects the scattered light from water particles at a 90° angle relative to the incident light, and the scattering intensity is proportional to the number of suspended particles.

The VN3100 Portable Turbidimeter can easily handle the determination of various low-turbidity water samples. It is also widely used in fields such as environmental protection, tap water supply, health and disease control, government and universities, municipal water supply, industrial water use, pharmaceutical industry, and sewage treatment.

The VN3100 Portable Turbidimeter has a turbidity measurement range of 0–1000 NTU. It can be powered by 4 AA batteries, or via a 5V 500mA power adapter with a USB Type-C cable. It is mainly designed for on-site turbidity determination of various water samples, with data storage functionality.
